Snip was purchased in 2006 from an outfitter in Cody, Wyoming where he spent many years packing supplies or carrying tourist up mountains. Snip traveled 10 hours (23 miles) up the mountain to base camp. At the age of 25 Snip was retired from his full time job so he was purchased by Tornado Alley Kigers to start a new career. Poor horse thought he was retiring! Snip passed the approval process to be a
Wild Women of the Frontier horse. He also spends time promoting mustangs with the
Midwest Mustang & Burro Saddle Club through participating in parades and demonstrations. Snip is such a good boy in his time at Tornado Alley Kigers he has taught many people to ride and has given numerous pony rides. In 2007 Snip appeared at
Equifest of Kansas. Snip is from a herd management area in Nevada.
